In Sekhem tradition, the Lionsgate is a time of heightened spiritual energy, accelerated manifestation, and deep soul activation. The lion-headed goddess Sekhmet — fierce protector, healer, and embodiment of solar Fire — is particularly present at this time. She burns away what no longer serves, clearing the path for transformation and rebirth.
Her counterpart Bastet, the cat goddess of warmth, protection, and joy, reminds us that Fire is not only fierce — it is also nurturing, playful, and deeply loving. Together, Sekhmet and Bastet represent the full spectrum of Fire energy: the power to destroy and the warmth to create.
