Hi, I'm Dominic Jones-Wood — and I'm thrilled you're here.

Spirituality found me early. I've been fortunate to have grown up with it as a guiding thread, developing my practice over the years into something I now hold dear. For over a decade I have been a Tarot reader and Sekhem practitioner, teaching Sekhem, Tarot, and ancient mythologies — and watching students grow into teachers themselves.

A Scientific Soul with a Creative Heart

As an Aquarian and Water/Air Birth Element, I've always approached spirituality with both curiosity and creativity — forever asking the whys and hows, seeking answers in the spaces between the known and the unknown. It's this blend of the scientific and the mystical that shapes everything I create and teach, and it's what ultimately gave birth to Emporos.

How Emporos Began

After stepping back from a previous career, I returned to school — currently studying Creative Writing at Cambridge University. It was during this chapter that my husband asked, with characteristic patience, whether I'd ever finish designing my Tarot deck. I did. And from that moment, Emporos was born — the perfect harmony of my passions: Sekhem, Tarot, and the art of making.

I knew I wanted to create products that complemented the Tarot while simplifying spirituality — grounding it in the elements, in Sekhem, in something physical and tangible. I've had a lifelong love of art, working with clay and paint, and I took an organic approach to letting the golems take shape. They now have their own character and foundations, and I love them completely.

The Journey So Far

My background spans many disciplines — Classical History, Sport Science, Business, IT, massage and rehabilitative treatments, digital design, and art. An eclectic mix, perhaps, but one that has shaped a career rooted in wellbeing, creativity, and a genuine love of learning.

Ten years on, I'm 31, happily married, and sharing life with two gorgeous rescue dogs from Cyprus — Helios and Apollo — who keep me grounded and joyful in equal measure.

A Personal Note

If you ever spot me in person, I'll be somewhere between classes and books, in the studio crafting, out in nature, or simply enjoying life with my family.

It is a privilege to have found this path — to have learned Sekhem and Tarot at twenty, for the years of practice and teaching that followed, and now for this new chapter with Emporos. I look forward to growing with you, to having you join me on this journey, and to sharing this new age of magic together.

Emporos is still in its early chapters, and that excites me deeply. To have found you here, at the beginning of something built with real intention and love, means more than I can say.

There is so much more to come.

With gratitude,
